As the executive search industry came into being several decades ago, most firms evolved into one of two types of firms – the oversized firm or the specialty firm. Although numerous firms followed these two business models, as the search industry began to mature, client organizations began to find each of the two business models to be problematic. As you may be aware, it is unethical for a search firm to recruit leaders away from its client organizations. As such, oversized search firms or specialty firms are designed to develop an exhaustive long list of clients, and therefore introduce limitations on access to some of the most desirable candidates in the world.

For that reason, Wheless Partners founded their firm on an entirely better business model to serve in the best interest of our client organizations. Some of our clients call it their “significant strategic advantage” in the marketplace…we simply call it Client-CentricSM.
